Hi, I’m Tami, the face behind Tami-Wanderlust! I’m a 58-year-old retired nurse who’s rewriting the narrative of life after 50. My journey is one of resilience, reinvention, and an unstoppable passion for exploration.
Once upon a time, I enjoyed luxury vacations to places like Paris, Brazil, Mexico, Hawaii (in first class!), and six unforgettable cruises. But life took an unexpected turn when I became bedridden, diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and struggled with severe depression. I thought my days of adventure were behind me—until I discovered the world of content creation.
Today, I’ve found a new purpose as a travel content creator, focusing on everything Florida has to offer. From pristine beaches and iconic lighthouses to unique adventures tailored for those over 55, I’m here to showcase the thrills and beauty of the Sunshine State. My content highlights:
